The 18th annual Amelia Concours d’Elegance was visited by 20,000 spectators and featured more than 300 cars. The 2013 Best of Show awards, one for Concours d’Elegance went to a 1936 Duesenberg SJ, and one for Concours de Sport was awarded to a 1968 Ford GT40.

There was a Corvette seminar handled by Ed Welburn, Vice President Global Design General Motors and 1963 Sting Ray designer Peter Brock.

The Amelia Island event is growing and looking more like its big brother held in Monterey. Auction houses Gooding and Company and RM collectively took in just over $54 million during the weekend event.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette a gorgeous 2014 Corvette Stingray in Cyber Gray was delivered to the show by GM. It was escorted to the stage by a 1959 Corvette Stingray Racer, where the legend all began.

Fabulous Corvettes Displayed at Festivals Of Speed

Only ½ mile away from the Amelia Island Concours d 'Elegance lies the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort and Golf Course - the new location for the Festivals of Speed, nestled on the 9th fairway. It was an exhilarating display of the world’s most exotic cars, motorcycles, watercraft and luxury lifestyle companies, and so well received that it will be integral to the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in the coming years.

Automotive enthusiasts took their first peek at 2 new Fabulous Corvettes, The C6 Supercharged.  George Haddad was on hand to shoot the breeze with discerning Vette owners who were astounded by the flawless craftsmanship and application of a 'definitive' AeroKit designed and fabricated by Fabulous Restorations, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
